Delete your account

You can permanently delete your Pacak account and the data we hold about you at any time. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest way. While signed in:

1. Open the Pacak app.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Scroll to the Account section.
4. Tap Delete account and confirm.

What gets removed immediately

• Your account record, profile, and preferences.
• All hike logs you created, including photos, notes, companions, and any attached Strava activity snapshots.
• Upcoming hikes you had planned.
• Mountains you had bookmarked.
• Your Strava connection — we revoke the access token with Strava and delete our copy of it.
• Your Expo push notification token, emergency contact, and any guide certification you uploaded.

What is kept, anonymised

Mountain correction reports and in-app feedback you submitted are retained for admin moderation, but they are stripped of your user ID so they can no longer be linked back to you. This matches what we describe in our Privacy Policy.

Can't access the app?

If you no longer have access to your device or are locked out of your account, email us from the address tied to your Pacak account and we will verify and delete it for you within a reasonable timeframe:

Timing

In-app deletion removes your data from our active systems immediately. Limited records may remain in encrypted backups for a short period before they are overwritten, as described in our Privacy Policy.
